Small format book with cream cloth and silver titles. 79 numbered pages, all edges gilt. With explanatory leaflet giving a brief biography of Beatrix Potter and the history of the publication of The Tale of Mr. Tod. Contained in a brown hinged box with silver title and rectangular onlay to front. Also includes a brown leather foil-blocked bookmark. ISBN: 9780723267522. The presentation box is further protected by a white card slip band. This is copy no. 59. Contained in original brown packaging box (with limitation details label to front) and 'cotton' (referring to binding) written in blue biro to front, small dent to top of box. This copy would make a wonderful gift.
